Parrots in a Conference!!

    ( With regards to parrots who visits our garden and feed on the grains we put aside in the garden) Parrot 1 on solar Panel: What's the program for today? Parrot 2 on the solar panel: I am done with grains for now. Parrot 3 on the solar panel: How about having "yummy fruits from the garden"? anyone interested? Parrot 1 on concrete: Yes, I am. it is been a long time since we had. Parrot 2 on concrete: Hey, let's go and check the garden for any ripened "yummy fruits" on trees? Parrot on the railing: Call us if you find something. Or else we will go to neighboring land.

Peafowl's call vs Cat's call

We live in a remote layout which is situated amidst wilderness and farmlands, which comes in between two villages not less than 2 km apart.  A very few houses are scattered around the layout including ours. But most of the neighbors were away during the lockdown. It was a perfect environment for us during the lockdown since there were fewer human movements and interference. Our only neighbors were the Peafowls and other garden birds who live around the layout and wilderness behind our house. This was a great opportunity for the human shy peafowls to freely explore our layout both in the daytime and at nightfall. Also making some of the huge trees as their habitats.   At one nightfall, peafowls sleep spread out in their habitats (which surrounds my house). One has a wake-up and alarm calls around 4am of loud "Kiyoo Kiyoo" (sounds like loud "Meow Meow" ) where other peafowls respond to it from different directions. A stray cat strolling in o...
